General group information

The u3a Peak District Walking Group usually organises walks on the first Thursday of each month. Members provide their own transport or share with others. An email sent out a week before each walk will provide detailed arrangements. Please wear boots and dress for the weather. Actually a dress, is not mandatory, but as a u3a we like to try and be inclusive.

The programme of u3a peak walks will be posted in West Bridgford u3a's Publications Highlights newsletter (June 2023 issue onwards), on at least a three monthly rolling basis. January to June 2025 edition is here.

Individual Walks are led by the Group Leader, Group Deputy Leaders & other willing volunteers.

The detailed arrangements for each walk are circulated to group members by email about a week in advance. When received, please advise, as requested, if you are planning to come along etc.
