The Anglo Indian Heritage History Group welcomes members from u3a groups across Nottingham. The group meets bi-monthly at the University of Nottingham. Discussions focus on history from personal perspectives, with the aim of collecting and preserving shared stories. For example some of the topics explored include the Indian contribution to the World Wars, family histories such as Indian Army service and missionary work, the role of South Asian doctors in the NHS, and indentured labour in Mauritius.
